Samsung is flipping the script this year. Literally.

After 7 generations of Fold, Samsung is doing something it has never done before - launching TWO Fold8 models. The standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 with a new wide, passport-like design, and the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra 5G - the true successor to the Fold7 for power users.

And the variant everyone is searching for - Violet Shadow, 12GB RAM + 256GB Storage, 5000mAh, 200MP, Customised Processor - might just be the most complete foldable Samsung has ever made.

1. Design: Familiar, But Finally Refined

If you found previous Folds too tall and narrow when closed, that's what the regular Fold8 is for. The Fold8 Ultra keeps the classic Fold proportions that existing Fold users love, with stronger cameras and continuity.

Leaks suggest Samsung will announce both at Galaxy Unpacked on July 22 in London, with the Fold8 Ultra positioned as the direct successor to the Z Fold 7.
